  1. Emojis are now fully supported in toodledo extend the same in Ultimate To-Do List

From the latest update as seen here -
    https://toodledo.canny.io/feature-requests/p/emoticons-please-for-god-sake-needs-it-desperately

toodledo team has done provision for emojis, request Ultimate To-Do List team to extend the same in the app.

Since as of now instead of emojis it shows question mark ? I am putting this a bug and not new feature request.

  2. Emojis in context and folder names break after sync to Toodledo

Emojis are very helpful because there are a lot with bright colors which can be differentiated at a glance.

They can be used in context and folder names, but it seems that Toodledo does not allow them. This could be mitigated if you what allow extra override names, which are not synchronized with Toodledo, in addition to the normal names which are synchronized.

If you are not convinced, I would be happy to provide screenshots how much of a visual help emojis are.

I am using emojis successfully in view names for a while now. This obviously works because they…

  3. Make the checkbox mark a task as complete after long pressing a task.

When a user long presses on a task, the list switches to multi-select mode where multiple tasks can be selected. The checkboxes are still on the screen and can be checked. If the checkbox is checked while in multi-select mode, the task is not marked as complete.

I'm getting many duplicated tasks; I can add a simple, once only, Task and later find I have it two or three times. I delete back to one and it seems to stabilise. I'm using a samsung Galaxy S9plus with pie and one UI.

The manual sort needs to allow unscheduled tasks to be sorted independently from the scheduled tasks. I made the mistake of assuming it did. And now everything is screwed up making the manual sort useless because I have to see the scheduled tasks together at the head of the list. It's the nscheduled tasks I need to sort manually.

  7. Again enable return from subtask view via back button

When Ultimate ToDo shows the list of subtasks of a parent task as of version 3 I cannot return to the parent task. This worked in previous versions when I pressed the "Back"-Button. Please add this feature again or provice an alernative.

  8. Notifications disappear after a reboot

Reminder are lost after a reboot. After a reboot the application should check all overdue tasks with reminders and give reminder notification. Also same logic should be implemented in the application to do this periodically (lets say every 15 min) to ensure all the reminders are up in the notification area. So unless the user complete the task, the reminder should never disappear. I already lost very important reminders after reboot.

In my view this is extremely important it should be part of the core design.

  10. Correct/Enhance: "How do I export or import my data to/from another app?"

    http://utl.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/92070-how-do-i-export-or-import-my-data-to-from-another-

It's all very well to suggest Toodledo, however, Toodledo does not support subtasks (what toodledo calls subtasks, 1 level, well ...).

Enhancing this article to be less superficial might be smart.

e.g. OPML? gtasks (has subtasks, but probably not as rich in terms of fields as toodledo?), csv?

Help the new user get from somewhere else to here. For all I know, checkvist's import/export capabilities may be useful as an intermediary step.

Anywho, in the end, this FAQ answer, as it stands, isn't particularly helpful.

  13. Use ToodleDo's Hotlist criteria in UTL's Hotlist

Either there's a bug in the Hotlist syncing with ToodleDo, or UTL has its own independent Hotlist.

I have changed the criteria for my Toodledo Hotlist, but UTL does not show the same tasks in my UTL hotlist as Toodledo does.

If it's a bug, please could it be fixed.

If Toodledo doesn't offer syncing of its hotlist, please can the Help/documentation be updated to clarify that this is the case - i.e. that it's the same as for other Saved Searches in Toodledo - you need to manually replicate them separately in UTL.

  14. Go back to the old time picker.

Not a bug, but an unhelpful design. The latest design is probably supposed to be faster, but it is slower to use. I have to scroll much more carefully to get it to the time I want. A number pad would be faster than this.

  16. Bugs with Priority:<None>

I ran into these bugs and ended up with a lot of confusion and spent about 1 hour trying to figure out what happened, as my tasks did not appear where they should have been when I was using two devices to sync back and forth (through the built-in ToodleDo sync). One device is a Nexus 4 with UTL 2.0.3, the other is a Nexus 7 (2013) with UTL 1.8.2.

I ran into the bug when I, being completely unaware at the time that <None> is not valid for ToodleDo, changed the priority of some ~30 tasks by:
    - Hit…

  17. Snoozed Reminders don't wait the specified snooze time.

We have 2 copies of UTDL v.2.0.3. One on a Droid Razr Maxx, Android v4.1.2. The other on Droid Mini, Android v4.4. Both have the same intermittent issue with Reminders being snoozed, usually for hours & the reminder popping back up again within minutes. Have not been able to correlate whether or not the snoozed hours end up being snoozed minutes or snoozed minutes end up being seconds. There doesn't seem to be any relation between snoozed time chosen to then the reminder pops up again.

The problem isn't consistent enough to identify a correlation.

    This just began being an…

We are currently unable to reproduce this issue on any of the devices in our office, but will run some additional testing before our next release. Any additional information you can provide would assist with testing. For example:

    - Whether nagging reminders were enabled for the task.
    - If you recently moved from one time zone to another.
    - The exact snooze time selected.
    - The number of minutes until the reminder actually appeared.

  18. Make filters, sort-order and display setting s for the subtask-list stick

Currently I habe Tod reenter filter, dort order and display otions every time I switch to the subtask view

  19. Show P(arent) icon when subtasks filtered out

Configure the display to show icons.
If both a Parent and its Subtask are shown in the view, they are marked with P and S icons, respectively.
If only the Subtask is shown, it is marked with an S icon and the parent can be reached through the 'parent task' action button in the task view.
But if only the Parent is shown, there is no P icon and in the task view the 'subtasks' action button is always displayed, even if there are no subtasks (yet). Hence, there is no indication whatsoever subtasks exist.

    Desired resolution:
    - When icons…

There is a known bug in the Galaxy S4 in which Samsung’s software (which implements the cut, copy, and paste buttons) does not obey the command from our app to apply a change in theme. The issue occurs when you change the theme from dark to light. If you keep the app in the dark theme, the problem does not occur.

Even though the bug is on Samsung’s side, we will be attempting a fix for the next major release.
