Enable calendar entries to be created that are cut off from the app. Simplify and reduce the number of steps to create a calendar entry.
I've been doing something I hate every week - STATUS REPORTS!! I recently became aware of a service that uses your Google Calendar to generate a status report with a user defined date range and other options: http://www.gtimereport.com/
I was going to start using my calendar to track my tasks, as my meetings are already in the calendar, so I figured I'm a third of the way there. But, I also have task management. I found several Android task managers that create a calendar entry. But, one of them makes it so simple and clean that it beats out all…

Any training documentation or better yet, a video to reduce learning curve?
So few articles & videos compared to other apps..... makes it hard to determine if this is worth perusing...other than your comparison list.
Been disappointed soooo many times re todo apps.

improve time interface
instead of adjusting the time for a task only by pressing + or - I would like to be able to scroll. check out the sbb app (swiss railway company) which allows both options: scrolling and direct entry by double tapping in fact for both time and date. smooth.. :)

possibility to link tasks to folders or files on the android
A lot of tasks involve handling files on my android-device. So it would be great if e.g. I could follow a link in the task which brings me directly to the folder which keeps the files that have to do with the task.

From viewing a task I want to access a list of all other tasks in the folder
Currently, from viewing a task, you can view the parent task and from there view the (other) subtasks. ie siblings. However, you can't do the same for folders. As toodledo only support 2 levels of task, many people use folders as a "project folder " for parent tasks. I found myself often creating a parent task with the same name as the folder to facilitate this sort of navigation in your app..

Make it more like Psion Todo
The Psion 5mx todo feature almost perfect:
Due date
Warning date
Alarm that got louder but less frequent until snoozed or turned off
No limit on how long warning was before due date
Warning relative to due date
alarm relative to due date or warning date
Get rid of 7 day limit on reminders1 vote -

Have diary views
Introduce views which classify all tasks into those overdue, those due today, those due tomorrow, those due beyond that but within a week and those with no due date. Each to have a separate heading. Business tasks has done it really well.

Better Desktop Integration
There are times when it is good to edit tasks from the desktop (e.g., when doing a weekly plan - easier on a desktop). One can use Toodledo and sync the changes back to UTD, except for UTD-specific fields like "Display tasks on calendar" (which are very useful). Can we have some way (e.g., using the tag field in tasks) whereby such fields are passed in to Toodledo and then to UTD after a sync?

Colour today and future dates in My views
In my views currently I have such a list:
Today is 04/10/2013
Title of the task - Note - Due Date
Alexander - Task 1 - 02/10/2013 (text colour is red)
Alexander - Task 2 - 04/10/2013 (text colour is white)
Alexander - Task 3 - 10/10/2013 (text colour is white)It could be easire to understand if the Date Due colour for today was yellow or green (different from the one that are already passed and from those that haven't come yet).
It would be even better if I could put my own colours for today, 3 day before…1 vote -
Implement Astrid-style continuous reminders
An option to allow a task to sound its reminder continuously until dismissed/snoozed, like Astrid did, would be very useful.
I've thought about setting the reminder sound to the one on my phone that loops continuously, or setting a very short 'nagging' time, but this would apply to all tasks. A per-task setting would be most useful as I spend a lot of time driving, so I don't want to be constantly having to dismiss or snooze tasks.

Make mic. input widget that works like "Simplest Checklist" and "Toodletask" combined
Make a speech to text input widget that works such that I can configure it for folder, context, tag and such and then when I tap on it, automatically brings up google speech to text interface, shows me its best guess of what I said, will let me choose it, edit it or speak again and then puts it in UTL and goes away. This idea comes from combining the behavior of two other google play apps called "Simplest Checklist" by JakiganicSystems and "ToodleTask" Harry Lascelles.

Don't display P and S icons
They are more distracting than helpful because there is already an indentation signifying subtasks under parents. it just makes the display cluttered.

including toodledo notes in the "my views" section
including toodledo notes in the "my views" section (now it only handles tasks), so one could explore notes not only by folder
