  1. Notifications disappear after a reboot

Reminder are lost after a reboot. After a reboot the application should check all overdue tasks with reminders and give reminder notification. Also same logic should be implemented in the application to do this periodically (lets say every 15 min) to ensure all the reminders are up in the notification area. So unless the user complete the task, the reminder should never disappear. I already lost very important reminders after reboot.

In my view this is extremely important it should be part of the core design.

  2. Support Toodledo "Due After" functionality for real

Your help doc says, "Note that Toodledo also has a “due after” option to specify that a task an only be completed after the due date. Ultimate To-Do List does not implement this, since the start date field can be used instead."

Start date is not the same as due date. It's simply wrong to assert that the start date field accomplishes the same purpose as the due date field. Screen real estate is at a premium both in the Ultimate To-Do List App and in the Toodledo web app, and I don't want to have to waste space displaying…

  3. Snoozed reminders do not appear after a reboot

If the device is rebooted after snoozing a reminder, the reminder does not appear at the appropriate time.

  4. Remove a task from the calendar when completed.

The feature to add a task to the calendar works great but when you mark the task as completed out stays on the calendar. The task must actually be deleted to disappear from the calendar. I suggest you remove the task from the calendar as soon as it is marked completed.

  5. When using multiple Toodledo accounts, folders need to be linked to accounts

Because there is no support for workspaces yet, the only way to share tasks is to have two accounts configured. To prevent the other person's tasks from cluttering the view, folders can be set up as the home view, where one can nicely first select whether the task is shared or private.

So far so good (not optimal but will do).

The problem is that when one enters the shared folder and presses new task, thef folder is selected ok, but the account might be wrong (it's apparently the account created first). This is wrong because there is no folder…

  6. For everyone GMT-7 and further West, Sync (Export) to Pure Calendar no longer worked since Day-Light Savings (due date shifts by 1-day)

It started on or about March 11. The ToDo's displayed by Pure Widget from Ultimate Todo List show-up one day early, but ONLY if the phone time zone is GMT-7, GMT-8, etc. (after daylight savings is applied if required) The Toodledo and Ultimate ToDo List show the correct date anyway. It's got to be a bug in the way the two apps exchange data. The author of Pure Calendar is aware of that, but the problem might come from Ultimate Todo List.

  9. The manual sort needs to allow unscheduled tasks to be sorted independently from the scheduled tasks. I made the mistake of assuming it did.

The manual sort needs to allow unscheduled tasks to be sorted independently from the scheduled tasks. I made the mistake of assuming it did. And now everything is screwed up making the manual sort useless because I have to see the scheduled tasks together at the head of the list. It's the nscheduled tasks I need to sort manually.

  10. Correct/Enhance: "How do I export or import my data to/from another app?"

    http://utl.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/92070-how-do-i-export-or-import-my-data-to-from-another-

It's all very well to suggest Toodledo, however, Toodledo does not support subtasks (what toodledo calls subtasks, 1 level, well ...).

Enhancing this article to be less superficial might be smart.

e.g. OPML? gtasks (has subtasks, but probably not as rich in terms of fields as toodledo?), csv?

Help the new user get from somewhere else to here. For all I know, checkvist's import/export capabilities may be useful as an intermediary step.

Anywho, in the end, this FAQ answer, as it stands, isn't particularly helpful.

  11. Tapping anywhere outside text field entry dialog loses all text within dialog

    1. Tap Add a Task action button
    2. Type "Task Title"
    3. Tap the screen above "Title"

Now all of the previous task title has been lost. It is the same effect as hitting cancel. It's irritating to lose data from a stray tap, especially easy to do if you are wearing conductive gloves.

  13. Make the checkbox mark a task as complete after long pressing a task.

When a user long presses on a task, the list switches to multi-select mode where multiple tasks can be selected. The checkboxes are still on the screen and can be checked. If the checkbox is checked while in multi-select mode, the task is not marked as complete.

  15. Go back to the old time picker.

Not a bug, but an unhelpful design. The latest design is probably supposed to be faster, but it is slower to use. I have to scroll much more carefully to get it to the time I want. A number pad would be faster than this.

  16. alpha sort case senstive problem

Notes are alpha sorted by title, but case sensitively, unlike toodledo, or other paradigms. It is normal to alpha sort case insensitively other than on Unix, and if case sensitively thus, AaBbCcDd, but UTDL does ABC...abc such that my notes entitled List for Dad, List for Mum, list for brother, are all over the place.

Coupled with the lack of sort by date modified, or syncing with toodledo's sort order, makes it slow to find notes when the user has more than a few.

Otherwise excellent app, and much applauded.

  17. Again enable return from subtask view via back button

When Ultimate ToDo shows the list of subtasks of a parent task as of version 3 I cannot return to the parent task. This worked in previous versions when I pressed the "Back"-Button. Please add this feature again or provice an alernative.

  18. Emojis are now fully supported in toodledo extend the same in Ultimate To-Do List

From the latest update as seen here -
    https://toodledo.canny.io/feature-requests/p/emoticons-please-for-god-sake-needs-it-desperately

toodledo team has done provision for emojis, request Ultimate To-Do List team to extend the same in the app.

Since as of now instead of emojis it shows question mark ? I am putting this a bug and not new feature request.

  19. Emojis in context and folder names break after sync to Toodledo

Emojis are very helpful because there are a lot with bright colors which can be differentiated at a glance.

They can be used in context and folder names, but it seems that Toodledo does not allow them. This could be mitigated if you what allow extra override names, which are not synchronized with Toodledo, in addition to the normal names which are synchronized.

If you are not convinced, I would be happy to provide screenshots how much of a visual help emojis are.

I am using emojis successfully in view names for a while now. This obviously works because they…
