  1. Add an option to set a view for a widget instead of a filter

If there was an option to set one of my standard views for a widget instead of modifying the filter, I could then quickly change through my standard views as my day progresses. All my widget filters could be preset. This would also be much less error prone than having to re-enter the filter at every change.

  2. make widgets more colourful

For To-Do APP, I just choose between GDT GTD and UltimateTo-Do List, I think GDT GTD have one advantage.that is his widgets, which is more colourful, different date has different colours, which makes it easy to recognize, maybe UltimateTo-Do should learn from it.

  3. Option to display reminders as popup notifications

The notification would appear in the center of the screen instead of the notification bar.

  4. Support Toodledo "Due After" functionality for real

Your help doc says, "Note that Toodledo also has a “due after” option to specify that a task an only be completed after the due date. Ultimate To-Do List does not implement this, since the start date field can be used instead."

Start date is not the same as due date. It's simply wrong to assert that the start date field accomplishes the same purpose as the due date field. Screen real estate is at a premium both in the Ultimate To-Do List App and in the Toodledo web app, and I don't want to have to waste space displaying…

  6. Integration with Google Voice

if I add a new task from a virtual assistant ( a voice prompt for example) the task is added to the calendar but not to ultimate to do list. it would be nice if adding a task from any application would also add it to the ultimate to do list.

  7. On-the-fly Filtering of Tasks (Multi-select in navigation pane)

It's not currently possible to multi-select in the navigation tree for some reason.

This is the first thing the user will try - before realizing its not possible and they have to start to create tons of views (even for the simplest filtration..).

This is a MANDATORY feature of any task software. Think about it :)

Let's say I would like to display all my tasks with the context of @errands - but only those who belongs to my "Private" project... what do I do? Yes. I try to select first @errands, then I try long-pressing it, hoping to get…

  8. upgrade the timer feature

Have the app automatically add aline to the note field when the timer is starte showing the date and time the timer was started. Then additional line when the timer is stopped and include the elapsed time of that timer event. This would be usefull in helping with tracking hours so that small business owners can track time for billing clients.

  9. Snoozed reminders do not appear after a reboot

If the device is rebooted after snoozing a reminder, the reminder does not appear at the appropriate time.

  11. Enable nagging by default on all tasks from Toodledo or created in-Phone

Toodledo doesn't support nagging, so if you want it turned on for all tasks there needs to be an "always on" override, or an option to default it to on for all tasks that are downloaded from toodledo.

It's not reasonable for users to add "nagging" before each and every task so that it gets picked up by ultimate to-do list.

  12. Ability to display the startup screen everytime the app is brought to front

Because Android doesn't shut down apps when you return to your device' home screen, bringing the app to the foreground again will always display the last screen viewed, instead of the default "startup screen" selected in the settings.
I'd like ultimate to-do list to display the startup screen everytime i open the app, and not only on the first run. This would make this setting much more useful!

  13. Provide a way to move the start, due, and reminder dates in one step

Currently, when a task needs to be shifted to a new day, the start, due and reminder dates all need to be changed. It would save some effort if this could be done in a single step - without having to change 3 dates.

Here are some ways this could be implemented:

    * As an option for each task, so that the start and reminder dates are stored as an offset from the due date. Whenever the due date changes, the start and reminder dates move as well.
    * As a global option, so all tasks store their start and…

  17. Be able to collapse tasks so you can choose which sub-tasks are expanded.

Each task/sub-task needs a ">" button to collapse and expand a task at will. This makes it easier to concentrate on specific tasks/sub-tasks.

  18. Scrollable widget fo Android 2.3

My usual task list (filtered by MYN approach) display more then 15 tasks. Even if I try to make the widget full screen size which inconvenient 'cause need to see near appointment on the same screen, it happens that not all my tasks is on the list. Add more than 6 rows in my Galaxy S make ADW launcher unstable. So, I hope you add scrolling to widget, it's real deal-breaker.

I've seen that this feature in developing and buy the app counting on it. Unfortunately reported completed feature doesn't the Android 2.3 (I use ADW). It' pity.

  19. Use and sync with ToodleDo's own Saved Searches

It's great that UTL allows me to build my own "Views", but I've already created what I want as Saved Searches on the ToodleDo desktop / web. I use a number of different Android devices regularly (SGS3, Nexus 7, Asus Transformer), and some others periodically (another phone, TV stick), and it would be great to keep them all in sync in terms of the views on all of them as well as the tasks.

I know that UTL has a backup and restore function, but it doesn't have an option to share that backup with Dropbox, gMail or whatever, so…

  20. Create a native windows 8/10 app

UTL is by far the best task manager I've used on any platform. I don't know how difficult it would be to 'port' it to Windows, but it would open a whole new user base to it, and would allow those of us who use Android and Windows to work on both small and large screen devices. I'd happily pay again to get it on my laptop, especially as the Toodledo website is clunky to use and has limited offline support.

With Windows 10 being a free upgrade, now would be a great time to be first to market on…
