Improve repeating task options
Create more and simpler options for task repeats. At the moment a task cannot be specified for the last day of the month*. Also an option to repeat a task a set time from completion would be useful e.g. a task could be set to repeat 7 days after it was completed.
It would be quicker and simpler to have separate buttons for day, week, month and year repeats. Each would take you to a sub menu to set the details. For example the day button could take you to a menu where you could set one or more days…

For more advanced repeating patterns, vote for this feature:
While not listed, the last day of the month would definitely be included when we implement this.
Tasks can already be set to repeat from completion date. You will see this option in the task editor after specifying a repeating pattern.

This can already be done. When viewing your task list, long-press on a task until a context menu appears. Then, choose the option to make the selected task a subtask.

Ability to turn off all location based reminders for a device
PLEASE, can we have a simple configuration option to turn off all Location based reminders for a device? I run the software on 3 different devices, and I only need location reminders on my phone - but currently get them on all 3 devices, which is annoying.
3 votesThe app does allow you to turn off location reminders on specific devices. To access the setting, go to the app’s settings area, then tap on Account Management followed by the name of the account. You will see a setting there that allows you to turn off location reminders.

The default font size in the task list widget is too small and it can't be changed

at widget adding filter of current place instead of an special place
I found at the Android widget the possibility to filter for the places. There are listed all defined places and "no special place". I need the possibility to select the current place (e.g. 200 meters around) so that this filter show me automatically what is to do arround my current place.

Global edit key task attributes (Due Date, Priority, Context, etc.)
Add global edits on multi-selected tasks so a group of tasks could all have Due Date, Priority, Context, or other attributes changed by entering it once. For example, change the Due Date on all selected tasks to a date entered only once, without opening and editing each task individually.
3 votesThe app currently supports this. To access this feature, either swipe from left to right on a single task to enter multi-select mode. Or, press your menu key and choose “multi-select” from the task last.

Ability to set star on and off directly in task list
Ability to set star on and off directly in task list (like you can check the "completed box").
I have folders that I use like shopping lists (1 task = 1 item to shop).
I use Star on and off for items so I easily can un-star items I've bought but want to keep in the list/folder and Star them again next time I need to buy them. It's a bit annoying to have to open each task just to turn Star on or off.

GPS doesn't turn off
After enabling locations my phone keeps GPS on and this uses a lot of extra battery.
Maybe it's a bug. If not maybe the feature could be changed to only use GPS locations when the Cell ID location reports that the phone is near the set location.
Tested on a HTC Sensation android phone.3 votesThis is covered by the following new feature request:

I like your idea of turning on the GPS only if the cellular location fix is close to a location. We will consider this when we implement this enhancement.

When finishing a task that is assigned to some "Goal", chain link is not added for that goal.
Maybe adding also a "full support" - show chains for goals in application - would be also great. I mean that chains on this page: http://www.toodledo.com/organize/goals.php (for Pro accounts)
But fixing that bug with not adding chain links would be enough.
3 votesThis issue appears to be on Toodledo’s side. The interface Toodledo provides to apps such as ours does not provide a way to directly update the goal chain. If you are not seeing a new link in the chain after completing a task within UTL, then Toodledo’s server did not update its internal records after the synchronization.
Currently, the only workaround we are aware of is to make sure to mark the task as complete from Toodledo’s web site.
Regarding support for viewing a goal chain within UTL, feel free to submit this in the “New Feature Suggestions” area.

notebook sorting - Needs default sort by most recently updated
Notes - alpha sort is silly - most recently updated at the top would be better

make widgets more colourful and add sync to Dropbox
For To-Do APP, I just choose between GDT GTD and UltimateTo-Do List, I think GDT GTD have two advantages. One is his widgets, which is more colourful, different date has different colours, which makes it easy to recognize, maybe UltimateTo-Do should learn from it. The other is GDT GTD's sync to Dropbox, this is a wonderful feature, I don't need to warry to loss data.but UltimateTo-Do can only sync to SD card.
Please pardon my English
3 votesWe would be happy to accept these feature requests. To help with voting and tracking, can you please submit these as 2 separate requests – one for the widget and one for dropbox?

Ability to set location reminder by Meter not Kilometer
In location tracking menu, now set it by mile or Kilometer.
it's too long. I have a lot of place I've set location reminder near my home within 1 Kilometer.
As a result, whenever I'm home, it always remind me....
So make it set by meter.
3 votesI think is a misunderstanding about the settings available. In the location tracking options, the “Distance Units” setting refers only to how distances are displayed in the app. There is another setting called “Reminder Radius” which allows you to adjust when a location reminder occurs. This is in meters.

Serious bug in location reminders, drains battery
There exists a serious bug in location reminders. Once a location is defined on a map the GPS will switch on and will never switch off, no matter if the app is running or not. This will drain the battery of the phone dramatically. The only workaround is to delete all locations and reboot the phone.
Please have a look at "location without tears" from the Tasker manual on how to avoid this:
http://tasker.dinglisch.net/userguide/en/loctears.html
Thanks!
3 votesThe app is currently turning on the GPS so that it can provide a reminder when a particular task’s location is reached. The app assumes that the user wants to be reminded even if the app is not running.
We have another feature request open to address the power drain issue by providing an option to use cellular location only. Feel free to add your vote and comments here:

This option is currently available under the display options (bottom-right button when viewing a task list). This allows you to show or hide subtasks, or display subtasks at the same level as the parents.

Provide the ability to filter on the start time so that tasks that don't start until later in the day are hidden
I have a number of tasks that can only be performed in the evenings. It would be great if there was a filter on the start time so that these types of tasks are not visible until they can actually be done
