the widget should open the whole app when tapping somewhere
if, I want to open the app from the widget directly should be possible. touching wherever you want in the screen, not needing to go to the icon that might be in other screen
additionally it should be possible. to change the preference list, for any other view we have just touching, not necessarily reprogramming the widget, we can decide we need a different view for a while o for a day

Touching the gear and touching "to-do list" in the widget title bar open the options. "To-do list" should open the full app. Thanks.

I agree wholeheartedly. No reason to limit what I can do when using the widget
