I see what you are referring to now. Like the outline feature, we will not able to implement this until Toodledo implements an interface allowing access for apps such as ours.

Ability to specify when one task depends on another
This could allow start and due dates to be set automatically based on the status of another task.
Here's another possible implementation: Use the status field. A task can be set up so that its status switches to "Next Action" after a specified task is marked as complete.

Customise long press drop down list
Add the ability to customise and manually sort the functions available from the long press drop down list.
Everyone works differently. If users were able to choose which functions were available, then sort them into the order they wanted this would dramatically improve speed and ease of use for all users.

This would provide the ability to select a tag, folder, context, goal, or location and include all tasks that do not contain it.

Ability to hide empty catagories/folders/contexts in the Navigation draw
Add the ability to hide empty catagories in the navigation draw. For example if you have some empty n@, contexts, folders or views these could all be hidden so the catagories with tasks im would be immediately apparent.
A simple tick/check box could be provided at the end of the Navigations draw list to show/hide catagories.

Have a way to export and import View settings between Devices. Have a way to CLONE Views.
If you get a new device, you have to recreate all your view settings on the new device by hand. What a drag! There should be a way to export the View settings on one device and reimport them on another device. Also, many of my views have the same settings. It's a pain to make a new view that's a variant of an existing view and re-enter all the settings. There ought to be a way to clone views just as there is to clone tasks!

Triage Goals
In Goals view, although I have assigned several "contributes to" relationships, the main Goals view lists them all on the same line (no indendation, no color codes).
Similarly, when one opens a Goal from the main list, it is only possible to see tasks related to that Goal, and cannot see tasks assigned to "contributes to" goals that should be nested within this. You must go back out to main goals view.
Will it be possible to triage these just like tasks are? (Indents, color codes) This would connect the whole system together in terms of functionality.

Implied by no tasks; and at a glance makes it always appear like there is one item left.

Ability to add or change tags on multiple tasks at once
I want to set the same tag to different tasks at the same time.

Display completed tasks always
Many of our "folders" are reusable lists:
- Packing list
- Grocery list
- ... etc. When using these lists we want to "uncheck" an item to mark it "ToDo" but the problem is that when we look at the folder everything marked completed is hidden. This completely negates using this as a grocery list, for example.
What I would like to be able to do is to toggle completed tasks (other tasks apps do this) so that I can mark the groceries that we need to buy by unchecking the neede items and then turn off "show completed tasks"…

Length - show total (sum) for a view or a folder
When you view a list of tasks, e.g. within a folder, or filtereed by status or any other criteria the Toodledo website shows the "Total Estimated Lengths", and also totals for elapsed time.
It would be really helpful to have this funtionality in the Ultimate To-Do List as well, at least totals for estimate times.
The reason why this important for me: I tend to overload my day with too many tasks. Thus I always enter the Estimated Length to a task once I put it on my list with things to be done next.
This helps me to stay…

support outline feature recently added to toodledo
Toodledo recently announced a new outline feature available on the website. I have used the tool and it works well for planning and brainstorming new ideas. I think it would be a handy addition to an already invaluable to-do product.
