Use and sync with ToodleDo's own Saved Searches
It's great that UTL allows me to build my own "Views", but I've already created what I want as Saved Searches on the ToodleDo desktop / web. I use a number of different Android devices regularly (SGS3, Nexus 7, Asus Transformer), and some others periodically (another phone, TV stick), and it would be great to keep them all in sync in terms of the views on all of them as well as the tasks.
I know that UTL has a backup and restore function, but it doesn't have an option to share that backup with Dropbox, gMail or whatever, so restoring it on another device means that I have to go digging into a file manager to find it (them, as it turns out), and transfer to another device, etc., which takes even longer than just updating the views manually.
And anyway, I've already created the searches I want in ToodleDo, so it's frustrating to have to recreate them on any other syncing platform. And if I tweak them in TooodleDo, I have to separately tweak them in my Android app to match.
This seems such a fundamentally obvious thing to sync that I'm surprised that no Android apps that I've found seem to do it (unless the ToodelDo API doesn't support it - in which case, I'll happily request it from them).
UTL is by far the most fully featured ToodelDo syncing app that I've found, but syncing my Saved Searches would add one more really useful feature.
Thanks
Julie

I would greatly benefit for this addition to the features of UTL. All of the comments mentioned in the original post apply to me. As far as I am concerned, this would be my number one suggestion for improvements. Thanks for a great alternative to the Toodledo android app that I would have to use.

Any progress with this.
Access to Saved Searches has been available via Toodledo API Ver 3.0 for some time now, see this link for details;
