upgrade the timer feature
Have the app automatically add aline to the note field when the timer is starte showing the date and time the timer was started. Then additional line when the timer is stopped and include the elapsed time of that timer event. This would be usefull in helping with tracking hours so that small business owners can track time for billing clients.

The timer is actually available in the app, but you need to make sure the feature is enabled. Go to the settings area, tap on "Fields/Functions Used" followed by "Power User", and make sure the Timer field is enabled.
Once it's enabled, you will see the option to start and top the timer whenever you long press on a task in a task list.

Timer is currently only available on website, I would like to have actual timer on android app, which will denote actual time spend, So that I can compare actual time and estimated time.

Additionally, have the running timer be prominently visible even when you go elsewhere in the app. Turn it into a widget even..? Now there's the risk that I turn on the timer and forget about it...

This would be great. I haven't found this feature in any other app since Astrid was abandoned by its developer.
