I assume this request is to allow the task name to pop up on the screen – regardless of what app the user is in – in addition to being placed in the notification bar.

Note that the app already has an option to sound the alarm again if it is not dismissed or snoozed. When creating or editing a task, select an alarm time and then choose the “nagging” option.

It would be beneficial to know which task is chiming. Currently on BBz10, after a chime and accessing UTD directly, it's difficult to know which task is chiming (when there are a number of tasks highlighted as due/overdue). Tasks should not pop up on the screen in any app, only within the UTD app. My previous task manager had a pop up screen in any app and it was extremely annoying because it took precedence over all functions, even if a call came in...the call couldn't be answered until the task/s were dealt with first and sometimes I had 5 or more tasks chiming/banked up - which meant the call could be missed. Perhaps the "alarmed" task could be a flashing highlight ...? - Loving the app so far though x
