Sometimes changes are not saved because of "google tasks must have a folder"
Sometimes when I edit an existing task, I cannot save the changes and I see the following temporary message on the screen:
"google tasks must have a folder"3 votesThis is a limitation imposed by Google that is outside of our control. Fortunately, it is easy to remove this error message. Just choose a folder when creating or editing a task. If the “folder” field is invisible, you can enable it in the settings area.

Rescheduling of repeat tasks sometimes doesn't work
This seems to be the same problem as "Bug: Advanced repeating tasks don't work".
I have the following settings for the task:
Due Date: 2016-04-21
Completed: 2016-06-21
Repeat: The last Sun of each month
Repeat From: Completion DateWhen I marked it completed on 2016-06-21, it stayed as completed and did not reschedule.
Sometimes my repeat tasks reschedule and other times they are marked as done.
This is very frustrating as I always have to keep looking in my completed tasks for tasks that should have been rescheduled.
3 votesGiven what you have described, i’m wondering if you are editing a task that was previously marked as complete and has already generated a new task based on the repeating pattern. In order to prevent accidental duplicates, the app has some code in place to prevent extra repeating tasks from being created if a task is marked as complete, then marked as incomplete, and then marked as complete again. Without these protections, marking a task as complete twice would produce 2 duplicate future tasks.
In certain unusual situations, this protection against duplicates could prevent a new task from being created when you want one to be. One thing you could try is to make sure to avoid turning a completed task into an incomplete one as much as possible. Instead, create a new task or use the clone command to make a copy of the completed one.

Offer more solid integration with device's calendar - most notably To-Do item deletions within the app
Items are entered into my device's selected calendar flawlessly from the app. This is a wonderful tool for easily entering items into my calendar and thereby keeping my Outlook calendar updated.
However, when an item (previously entered from within the app and then copied to my calendar) is deleted, it tends to remain in my local calendar. It would be great if these deleted entries were also deleted from my calendar without fail.
Thanks for listening...
3 votesThe app is designed to delete a linked calendar entry upon deletion of a task. If this is not working for you, can you provide a list of steps which will reproduce the problem? If we can identify the steps required to reproduce this, then we will accept this feature request and work on a software update.

Auto move tasks
Create a field to allow tasks to automatically move forward day to day if you have not completed them. Some tasks would do this, some wouldn't depending if you turned this criteria on or off.
1 voteThis can be accomplished through the use of optional due dates. For more information, take a look at this article:

Make fields movable in the task area.
Almost every task requires 2 things a Task name, and a folder. This means I have to scroll down almost every time after putting in a task to select the folder field. Why not allow me to put fields in any order? Then I would move the fields up to the top of the list that I use the most often.

Add the ability to Expand/Collapse Parents/Subtasks
Look at My Life Organized for an example. frankly, I prefer your program, but like the ability to collapse an outline to help me overview it better. Thank you.

Sort Task Fields - New Task Entry
When entering a new task, I would like to control the order of task fields.
Having the ability to put fields that you use every task entry ("folder" for me) will keep it from being hidden under the phone keyboard when entering a new task. I've removed all non-relevant fields which helps greatly, but prioritizing the item list will help increase efficiency!

Implement a possibility for longer task-titles
Actually, when the title of a task is long, it shows the title only in 1 line and at the end it shows "..."
Maybe it is a bug? Or is this feature missing?
I would like to see the whole title (maximum 3 lines long).
But also: When the title is short, the title doesn`t have to take more than one line.
I mean: One line for short title, two lines for a little bit longer title, 3 lines for long titles.
Or even much better: The possibility to manually expand & wrap the shown task-title in the task-list.3 votesThis is a duplicate of the following feature request. Feel free to add your vote here:

allow tasks to be hidden from view until x number of days/weeks before due date.
It would be nice to be able to have a task be hidden from view until x number of days/weeks before the due date.
3 votesThe app can currently do this. While viewing a task list, tap on the filter button (either at the top or bottom of the screen) and then edit the filter rule for due date, or create a new rule for the due date. One of the options available is to only show tasks with a due date that is on or before a certain number of days in the future.

Auto Backup does not appear to work
Auto back up does not appear to work, you need to backup manually, even with the backup once a day box ticked it does not appear to work.
1 voteThe automatic backup may not work – or be delayed – for the following reasons:
- Having your device plugged into a computer at the time the backup tries to run. On some devices, this blocks access to the SD Card or media storage area.
- Having your device powered off frequently and/or frequent reboots.
- A bug in the Android installation on your device, which may be fixed by rebooting.
If you don’t think any of these apply to you, then you can make use of the app’s ability to send us a log file containing technical information to help track down the problem. To send the log, do the following:
1. Go to the backup and restore area in the settings, and verify that no backup has been generated for at least 2 days.
2. Go to the Help area in the app and tap on Upload Usage… -
Location reminder not working?
I just tried testing the locations feature. I created a task, assigning it to my current location and configured it to remind me when there. Never got a word about it. It appears to be correctly and fully turned on in settings. What am I doing wrong?
1 voteLocations reminders are triggered when a location is entered. If you create a location reminder for a location you are currently at, the reminder will not occur until you leave and then return to the location.

Time Select bug
There's a bug were when I try to select a time, like 7:04, it switches to 7:10 or 7:05 instead. I am using this app on Samsung Galaxy S5 with latest software
1 voteThis behavior is by design. It speeds up time entry by making use of the fact that the vast majority of tasks will have start and due times that fall on a 5 minute interval.
We do have an open feature request to make the 5 minute increment optional. Feel free to add your vote here:

Make reminders wake up screen and have a popup on there, similar to the To Do Reminder android app
If anyone here has the To Do Reminder app on Android, they would know what I'm talking about. This app needs the ability to wake up the screen and actually show the reminder, not just the app icon.

Set 'first/last day of month' as a reminder option
When I set a repeating reminder for 'end of month', I have to set it for 28th of each month so that the reminder occurs in February. Ideally what I need is reminder that can work out the last day of a calendar month automatically. Thanks

Bug: Advanced repeating tasks don't work
Advanced repeating tasks don't work. When I set a monthly or weekly repeating task, things run smoothly. However, if I set a task to repeat every 27 days or every 4 weeks, the task isn't repeated when checked off. It used to work fine with the old app version. What's wrong with the new version? d repeating tasks don't work. When I set a monthly or weekly repeating task, things run smoothly. 1 voteWe are currently unable to reproduce this problem in our office, and no one else has reported this. With repeating tasks, one thing to keep in mind is is that the next task will only appear after the current task has been marked as complete. Also, if you are checking for the task from Toodledo or Google, or from another device you are syncing with, you will need to allow some time for synchronization to occur.
You can also confirm that the new task has been generated by searching for it by name. Just press the search button in the app and type in part of the task’s name.

Delete and/or rename misspelled tags
I have several misspelled tags and I can't get rid of them from my tag list. Could you please provide way to delete or rename tags.
3 votesThe app currently supports this. From the navigation drawer, tap on the edit button (the pencil) at the top of the tag list. You can then tap on a tag to rename it, or tap on the trash can to delete it.
