add a checkbox next to tasks in the widget itself so I don't have to open the program to "complete" a task

Version 3 has just been released. It includes new widget themes that have a checkbox for completing tasks.

I have used task software before and have always returned to paper and pencil because paper lists are quick/easy to view and to mark. When you have long lists, taking a few moments to waiting for the software to open each time you complete a task, finding, then marking the task is simply aggravating. The widget here only performs 1/2 of the process that makes paper great; the viewing. Doesn't it make sense to be able to quickly act on what's being viewed? Unlock...view today's tasks...tap completed task..done. When it's that easy, quick and straightforward; software will eliminate paper's greatest benefits.
