Widget title unreadable using dark theme
The widget title color should change when using the dark theme as it is almost unreadable.
We are not currently able to reproduce this problem on devices in our office. When the dark theme is chosen for the widget, you should see blue text for the widget’s title on a black background. Do you see something else? Also, what device do you have, and which version of Android are you using?
If you haven’t already done so, you can adjust the theme for the widget by tapping on the settings button at the top of the widget and going to the widget’s display options. If the dark theme doesn’t work on your device, perhaps the light theme will.

Some Samsung Android 6 devices had a bug that prevented the black background in the widget from displaying. This has been fixed in a system update from Samsung. Try checking your device for a system update and install it if it is available.

+1 I wish to use dark theme for the widget but as my screen wallpaper is a photo I can't use it because as its background is transparent the white text for the tasks doesn't display correctly on the wallpaper.
suggestion: add a black or transparent dark rectangle as a background of the dark theme.
Note: the light theme does work because this theme use a white rectangle as a background. simply do the same for dark themes ;-) -

Should add that this occurs with light wallpapers as background.
