Add a widget 'button' that lets you start a timer, that on 'stop', auto prompts you to assign the time to a new/already made task
A widget that is basically a single large 'button' that has start/pause/stop options. It starts to record time on 'start', you can pause.
Importantly on 'stop' it prompts you via a full screen pop up to input what 'task' you were doing to attach the recorded time to it. If your phone is locked, it will display the pop up on unlock. Could be accessible via lock screen.3 votes -

Option to automatically add creation date and time to task note field
ToodleDo does not provide a 'Create date/time' field for the task, this info can only be manually written in the note field. Writing the creation date/time as the first line of the note as an automatic (and configurable) feature would be great!

when I change the priority on a task & save. It reverts back to old value.
When I change the priority on a task & save it. A few minutes later it changes back to the old priority value. How can I stop this from happening?
2 votesHere are a few things to check:
Check to make sure you are pressing the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen after editing a task. If you press your phone’s back button, it will not save automatically (instead it will ask you if you want to save). Likewise, if you exit the app while editing a task, changes will not be saved.
If you make a conflicting change at Toodledo in between synchronizations, this can cause this issue (due to the sync conflict).

Tablet Version runs GREAT under BlueStacks on a Windows 7 PC, Syncs GREAT
Just wanted to let folks know that the tablet version of UTL is awesome running under BlueStacks on a Windows 7 PC. Takes a bit of computing horsepower and RAM to do so (my PC is 2.4 Ghz Intel P8600, 4 Gb RAM). UTL under BS syncs perfectly through Toodledo with my phone app. BS gets a "phone" identity through an XDA hack for the Google Play Market and you can't download the tablet app to your "phone" (get "incompatible" warning). But the Amazon AppStore app that comes pre-installed with BS doesn't care and lets you download and install the…

Add the ability to check the current view against all tasks
Building a new filter is sometimes an iterative process, particularly if it contains optional dates or other complexities. After such a filter (view) is built, some tasks that you would expect to see in the view don't appear because of the way in which the task was entered. A useful feature would be a screen that shows, for each filter (view), all of the items on the 'all tasks' list that are, and are not, included.

Update Android app with new Jellybean/Holo look as per Google guidelines.
Currently, the 1.82 version on Android looks like it was designed for Jellybean... the app needs to be modernized to look like it was designed for Jellybean 4.2 with expandable notifications and more!

Show P(arent) icon when subtasks filtered out
Configure the display to show icons.
If both a Parent and its Subtask are shown in the view, they are marked with P and S icons, respectively.
If only the Subtask is shown, it is marked with an S icon and the parent can be reached through the 'parent task' action button in the task view.
But if only the Parent is shown, there is no P icon and in the task view the 'subtasks' action button is always displayed, even if there are no subtasks (yet). Hence, there is no indication whatsoever subtasks exist.Desired resolution:
