  • Under Review: This has been accepted. The release date is unknown.

  • Completed: The item has been fully implemented and appears in the latest release.
  • Declined: The item was not accepted. Check the comments area for the reason.

  1. From viewing a task I want to access a list of all other tasks in the folder

    Currently, from viewing a task, you can view the parent task and from there view the (other) subtasks. ie siblings. However, you can't do the same for folders. As toodledo only support 2 levels of task, many people use folders as a "project folder " for parent tasks. I found myself often creating a parent task with the same name as the folder to facilitate this sort of navigation in your app..

  2. alpha sort case senstive problem

    Notes are alpha sorted by title, but case sensitively, unlike toodledo, or other paradigms. It is normal to alpha sort case insensitively other than on Unix, and if case sensitively thus, AaBbCcDd, but UTDL does ABC...abc such that my notes entitled List for Dad, List for Mum, list for brother, are all over the place.

    Coupled with the lack of sort by date modified, or syncing with toodledo's sort order, makes it slow to find notes when the user has more than a few.

    Otherwise excellent app, and much applauded.

  4. Update Time Selector Layout

    The android app "business calendar" does it so much better. Please copy it.
    Ie you can easily set and adjust a time with no scrolling wheel things giving you too much precision at the expense of usability

  6. make widgets more colourful

    For To-Do APP, I just choose between GDT GTD and UltimateTo-Do List, I think GDT GTD have one advantage.that is his widgets,which is more colourful, different date has different colours,which makes it easy to recognize, maybe UltimateTo-Do should learn from it.

  7. Triage Goals

    In Goals view, although I have assigned several "contributes to" relationships, the main Goals view lists them all on the same line (no indendation, no color codes).

    Similarly, when one opens a Goal from the main list, it is only possible to see tasks related to that Goal, and cannot see tasks assigned to "contributes to" goals that should be nested within this. You must go back out to main goals view.

    Will it be possible to triage these just like tasks are? (Indents, color codes) This would connect the whole system together in terms of functionality.

  9. possibility to link tasks to folders or files on the android

    A lot of tasks involve handling files on my android-device. So it would be great if e.g. I could follow a link in the task which brings me directly to the folder which keeps the files that have to do with the task.

  10. Remove a task from the calendar when completed.

    The feature to add a task to the calendar works great but when you mark the task as completed out stays on the calendar. The task must actually be deleted to disappear from the calendar. I suggest you remove the task from the calendar as soon as it is marked completed.

  11. Button for multiple calendars

    I would like to see a button or menu item within the app to add the ability to change calendars without going to the settings menu to do so. I am sure a lot of users have multiple calendars as do I and this would facilitate those of us that do. Otherwise, I have to use another app to put Ultimate todo data on the proper calendar.

  12. Add a day by day view with next and previous button

    Add a day by day view to view today task, and then when sliding from right to left (or using next button) , view next day and so on.
    Same with previous button or when sliding from left to right.

  13. Help people find the other side of Ultimate To-Do List - best way to access sync'ed info ofrom other platform

    It would be helpful if uservoice or faq had ...

    From my reading so far (not yet actual use), Ultimate To-Do List appears to be THE app for (sub-)tasks on Android.

    I consider the pda to be a data referencing tool, not a data entry tool. (Others feel differently, but I don't believe they are the majority.)

    What I'm having REAL difficulty with is, is what to use on my PC to access the same (gtask) data. A topic with 'popular' or merely a list of what others use on that side would be useful.

  16. I put a start date of 1976 on one task. It looks perfect on UTDL, but on Toodledo it's 2076. Sync problem or Toodledo?

  17. improve time interface

    instead of adjusting the time for a task only by pressing + or - I would like to be able to scroll. check out the sbb app (swiss railway company) which allows both options: scrolling and direct entry by double tapping in fact for both time and date. smooth.. :)

  19. Alphabetical sort of titles does not match Toodledo for [ ] ^ _ and '

    In Toodledo the symbols:

    [ ] ^ _ '

    are sorted after the alphabet (AaBbCcDd ... XxYyZz)

    But in the Ultimate To-Do List, these same symbols, when all tasks are sorted alphabetically, show up after the @ symbol but before the alphabet.

    Examples:
    Toodledo alpha-sort:

  20. A View that automatically selects/displays other views based upon configurable environment criteria

    So that for example, if it's Tuesday, between 1 and 4 PM, and if I'm at the location "Work", this hypothetical view would automatically select/display my custom view "Work." The time, location, and selected view would be user-configurable.

    Later, when I'm still at work, but the time is between 4 and 5 PM, the same hypothetical view would be user-configured to automatically display my custom view "Meetings."

    If, during those same hours, I happen to be somewhere other than the "Work" location, the hypothetical view would be configured to display my custom view "Errands."
