Allow the app to be configured to return to the screen you were last on
The iPhone Toodledo app can be configured to remember what screen you were viewing and start up there every time. This is exactly the way I want the app to behave... Even if Android unloads the app and it has to be reloaded, it should remember where I left off and take me back there. As I mentioned, that's the way the iPhone Toodledo app works, and it's also the way the Toodledo web site works.

Folders and/or views drop-down in main lists
If a user organizes their tasks / notes in a multitude of folders, it's a bit cumbersome to switch between folders or views (3 taps across 3 screens). If a drop down folder or view list were on the header bar or footer bar of a task/notes list, it would simplify and streamline managing multiple folders or views, allowing rapid switching without "leaving your place".

I would like to see an icon or a label that shows on the home screen if there is a filter being applied.
I was creating different views and trying to check them against my overall task count. I spent 20 minutes trying to get the filter working and name it and then put it on the home screen. I was about to submit a bug report when I finally figured out there was another un-named filter being applied.

Customize widgets that show on Widgets tab in drawer
Please allow us to show/hide the various widgets on the Widgets tab in the drawer. Currently there are nine different sizes available and I would like to only show a few of them instead of all of them when I want to add a widget.

Under "Recently Completed" have the ability to multi-select some or all to do,s and clear the due dates to NONE.
As far as I can tell, you only have the option to select a new Due Date.

Able to set "out-of-bounds" hours for reminders
After setting the "out-of-bounds" timings, during task creation software either blocks the setting of reminders to go off during those hours, or gives a warning prompt that reminder had been set during out of bounds hours

Add Sync with todoist.com
Please add a sync with todoist.com. Toodledo is useless without multiple levels of Subtasks. I can't understand why Toodledo is so popular. There needs to be a sync with one that is fully functional besides Google Tasks. Thank you, Ken

Add a quick temporary selection of due date scope to the main screen
During daily and weekly reviews it is convenient to see what is due in the next day, the next two days, the next week, by next Friday, and by next Sunday, for several different contexts. Although separate views can be created for each of these, the length of the list of views is an inefficiency. A dropdown on the main screen that allowed the due date scope of the current view to be temporarily overridden would be more convenient.

Add a calendar item to indicate overdue to-dos exist
Ideally a single calendar item would give information on a list of overdue to-dos; if each to do gave a calendar item, this could easily overwhelm agenda calendar views. This calendar item would be updated so that it is always linked with the current day.

Add a calendar item to indicate undated to-dos exist
I guess a single calendar item would give information on a list of undated to-dos; if each to do gave a calendar item, this could easily overwhelm agenda calendar views. This calendar item would be updated so that it is always linked with the current day.

Ability to display the startup screen everytime the app is brought to front
Because Android doesn't shut down apps when you return to your device' home screen, bringing the app to the foreground again will always display the last screen viewed, instead of the default "startup screen" selected in the settings.
I'd like ultimate to-do list to display the startup screen everytime i open the app, and not only on the first run. This would make this setting much more useful!21 votes -
Add a 1x1 Badge Widget
I would like a 1x1 widget that shows the NUMBER of tasks that match a "view". Clicking the widget would open the view.

Provide a widget to tailor the display to list folders rather than tasks.
Some do not think of a list of tasks but a list of tasks within a folder. Although your tool allow a grouping of folders, there is no way to view a list of tasks by folder (e.g. project).

When using multiple Toodledo accounts, folders need to be linked to accounts
Because there is no support for workspaces yet, the only way to share tasks is to have two accounts configured. To prevent the other person's tasks from cluttering the view, folders can be set up as the home view, where one can nicely first select whether the task is shared or private.
So far so good (not optimal but will do).
The problem is that when one enters the shared folder and presses new task, thef folder is selected ok, but the account might be wrong (it's apparently the account created first). This is wrong because there is no folder…

Provide an option to Repeat From Start Date
I find that I frequently have a ToDo that starts, say, on the first of the month but has no firm Due Date. For instance, "Deposit subtenants' checks." I have that on the first of every month, but it really doesn't need a Due Date. Setting it to Repeat From Completion Date, of course, won't work. For now, I'm using a Due Date of the first of the month, so the Repeat can be From Due Date.
