Select multiple tasks gesture like in Google photos
Long press on the first task until it is selected, then without lifting off the screen, slide your finger across any additional tadks you want to select. If you want to select more than what's shown on the screen, slide your finger up or down and hold it to auto-scroll and select as you go. If you happen to remove your finger, you can still add new tasks, but will need to tap them individually. https://smartphones.gadgethacks.com/how-to/theres-super-easy-way-select-multiple-pictures-google-photos-0246719/

Put the buttons back!
Can we please have the "add new" button put back to where it has been for years. Muscle memory means I end up in search every time I try to add a new task. You wouldn't like it if I swapped the brake and accelerator pedals in your car. Why can't 1 of the new themes be the old theme.

Emojis in context and folder names break after sync to Toodledo
Emojis are very helpful because there are a lot with bright colors which can be differentiated at a glance.
They can be used in context and folder names, but it seems that Toodledo does not allow them. This could be mitigated if you what allow extra override names, which are not synchronized with Toodledo, in addition to the normal names which are synchronized.
If you are not convinced, I would be happy to provide screenshots how much of a visual help emojis are.
I am using emojis successfully in view names for a while now. This obviously works because they…
3 votesA full fix for this issue would require Toodledo to update their interface. At this time, they don’t seem to be doing any development work on their service.

Get rid of that glaring oversaturated blue Also that awful red dot to add new And return to an app that doesn't look like a childs plaything
Go back to a theme version before
4.1.34 votesThe new themes were developed to match current Android standards, as well as to respond to feedback from our customers who were saying the interface was looking dated.
We understand that user interface preferences vary widely from person to person, and so we’ll definitely consider adding new themes that exactly match the previous ones if there’s enough demand from our users.

Link previews
I frequently paste links. And would be great to have a preview feature. The best one I know of is the one in the Telegram app.
I would definitely buy a plug-in for that.1 vote -

Provide Option to Put Sync and Refresh Back on Bottom Bar
I have a very Tall Galaxy Note 8. The movement of the menu up to the top right corner has caused me a lot of awkward reaching to use Sync and Refresh. The developer ought at least give users an option to go back to the "classic" placement of these functions. I am enjoying using UTL a lot less these days.
1 voteWe can certainly consider adding the option of putting those back at the bottom if there is enough demand. In the meantime, you do have options for sync and refresh that don’t require reaching for the menu. For sync, you can make a downward swipe on a task or note list to trigger this. For refresh, an automatic refresh occurs in a variety of conditions, including:
- After a sync.
- After switching views.
- Turning the screen off and on.
- Switching to another app and back again. For a very fast refresh, try double-tapping on the recent apps button to go to your last used app, then double-tapping again to return to Ultimate To-Do List.
- Rotating your screen from portrait to landscape, or vice-versa. -
Identifying Duplicates
Occasionally some repeat tasks are duplicated during sync either due to completing the task on two devices or completing a task by accident and then reversing it.
It would be really useful have a filter to be able to identify exact duplicate tasks so that one can be deleted.
Thank you.

Adjust Menu Position
Good morning,
Thanks for the latest improvements made with today's update, in the next version you can move the menu to the top left to the bottom right, which opens '' display options, save this view, multi-selection, manual sorting, synchronize now '', bringing it to the bottom right with the other controls, this new position would allow phones with large displays to be able to easily open all the menus with one hand, in my case on the left.
Thank you.

Add ability to add a timer button in widget list or change color of tasks in widget when timer is running
I can't figure out a way to display in the widget if a timer is running on a particular task. My idea is to be able to include a timer on/off switch on the right hand side of each task in the widget list and/or when the timer is on, the task in the widget changes color.

Make the checkbox mark a task as complete after long pressing a task.
When a user long presses on a task, the list switches to multi-select mode where multiple tasks can be selected. The checkboxes are still on the screen and can be checked. If the checkbox is checked while in multi-select mode, the task is not marked as complete.

Add a one-time task note that doesn't copy over to the next recurring task
I'd like to include a task note on a recurring task for future reference that has to do with the current task that I am working on, but this one-time task note doesn't have anything to do with the next occurance of the task. Once the task is marked completed the one-time note will not display in the next iteration of the recurring task.

Sync due time with Google tasks
Currently Ultimate Todo only syncs the due date with Google Tasks. But a time value can also be added to a Google task. Please add this to Sync as the due time.
2 votesWe would very much like to add this feature, but unfortunately Google’s task service doesn’t yet allow the due time to be synced. Once Google allows this on their end, we will make this a high priority.

Make snoozed status visible
It would be a nice feature to see with a small icon (just like the small icons for reminder, repeat etc.) if a specific task is snoozed. In addition it would be really nice being able to use the snoozed status in composing a view.
In the current situation it is not really clear if you still get a reminder for an overdue task (because it's snoozed) or not.Kind regards,

Make the Ultimate To-Do List a Progressive Web App
Progressive web apps are coming to Windows and Android devices. Apple may slowly follow along (or lose big?). PWA's hold the promise of write-once/run everywhere. I now have my outlook.com e-mail apparently running as a PWA in Chromium-based Edge. At about 38 minutes in the 11/27/19 Windows Weekly podcast, the significance of PWA's to Android and Windows development is discussed. Android PWA's should be able to run directly on a Windows 10 computer, etc.

I'm getting many duplicated tasks; I can add a simple, once only, Task and later find I have it two or three times. I delete back to one.

Ability to Search Tasks and Notes at the Same Time in Quick Search
Currently, when tapping on the search button to perform a quick search, either tasks or notes may be searched. This feature request is to allow both tasks and notes to be searched on at the same time.
