Simplfied Contacts Integration
Your contact integration is too complicated. See Any.Do for the perfect example of suggesting contacts to add to tasks, and call them right from the task app!

Need ability to call phone numbers from the task list!
basic need of a task list - copying and pasting phone numbers to the dialer is a pain!
1 voteThe app can’t currently place a phone call directly, but it can jump directly to a linked contact from the task list. Long-press on a task until a context menu appears, and then choose the option to open the contact. Once the contact has been opened, you should be able to place a call with one more tap.
Also, when viewing or editing the details of a task, your device should allow you to tap on phone numbers that appear in a task’s note and take you directly to the dialer.

Add a 1x1 Badge Widget
I would like a 1x1 widget that shows the NUMBER of tasks that match a "view". Clicking the widget would open the view.

Ability to display the startup screen everytime the app is brought to front
Because Android doesn't shut down apps when you return to your device' home screen, bringing the app to the foreground again will always display the last screen viewed, instead of the default "startup screen" selected in the settings.
I'd like ultimate to-do list to display the startup screen everytime i open the app, and not only on the first run. This would make this setting much more useful!21 votes -
when I change the priority on a task & save. It reverts back to old value.
When I change the priority on a task & save it. A few minutes later it changes back to the old priority value. How can I stop this from happening?
2 votesHere are a few things to check:
Check to make sure you are pressing the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen after editing a task. If you press your phone’s back button, it will not save automatically (instead it will ask you if you want to save). Likewise, if you exit the app while editing a task, changes will not be saved.
If you make a conflicting change at Toodledo in between synchronizations, this can cause this issue (due to the sync conflict).

Enable nagging by default on all tasks from Toodledo or created in-Phone
Toodledo doesn't support nagging, so if you want it turned on for all tasks there needs to be an "always on" override, or an option to default it to on for all tasks that are downloaded from toodledo.
It's not reasonable for users to add "nagging" before each and every task so that it gets picked up by ultimate to-do list.

Widget title unreadable using dark theme
The widget title color should change when using the dark theme as it is almost unreadable.
1 voteWe are not currently able to reproduce this problem on devices in our office. When the dark theme is chosen for the widget, you should see blue text for the widget’s title on a black background. Do you see something else? Also, what device do you have, and which version of Android are you using?
If you haven’t already done so, you can adjust the theme for the widget by tapping on the settings button at the top of the widget and going to the widget’s display options. If the dark theme doesn’t work on your device, perhaps the light theme will.

provide sub-folders, to allow hierarchical structuring of tasks (several levels)
Example: folder - Community Service; sub-folders - Red Cross Volunteer, CERT trainer, etc.

Add an action to add or change tags/context/location/goal in Multi-Select mode
When mass-editing existing tasks (Multi-Select mode), it would be nice if the actions in the contextual menu would also include "Add/Change" for Tags, Context, Location, Goal, etc.
In case of Tags, rather than replacing them it should either ask what to do or just add the new ones.31 votes -
Move the star away from the Complete check-box for new items.
It's too easy to press the wrong one! :)

simple task summary screen
When I tap a task to the summary screen I don't want to see any field that doesn't have a value. That way we can increase the font and still see a lot of the note field. Once I hit edit then I would like to see any unused fields.

In Settings have a option to remove the unused License Icon on the all apps screen
In Settings have a option to remove the unused License Icon on the all apps screen. That way we won't be selecting a Icon that doesn't open the app.

Highlight tasks which are past there due date and time
In the widget highlight task which are past their due date/time, it already does this for the due date if it is added to the widget, but I think it would be nicer if the title went red even if the due date wasn't displayed.

Theme colors for widgets
The light and dark side are nice, how about a few more like gray, red, green, etc...

EXIT method
Needs a way to EXIT the program & remove it from memory. MENU button doesn't bring up anything & couldn't find anything in the blue menu bar. Back just goes to the last screen viewed - even on home screen.
13 votesThis can be implemented, but there is a chance that forcing the program to be removed from memory will cause unwanted side effects, such as missed reminders.

I see what you are asking for now. I have accepted the feature request.

Two account in only a task
Now can make a task in both account(google, toodledo),
but there're two task in each account then
if a task in both account, not two separate task,
it can be the best way to link Toodledo and Google.
3 votesIf I understand the this correctly, the feature request is to allow a single list of tasks to synchronize with both a Toodledo and a Google account, thus keeping Toodledo and Google in sync as well.

For everyone GMT-7 and further West, Sync (Export) to Pure Calendar no longer worked since Day-Light Savings (due date shifts by 1-day)
It started on or about March 11. The ToDo's displayed by Pure Widget from Ultimate Todo List show-up one day early, but ONLY if the phone time zone is GMT-7, GMT-8, etc. (after daylight savings is applied if required) The Toodledo and Ultimate ToDo List show the correct date anyway. It's got to be a bug in the way the two apps exchange data. The author of Pure Calendar is aware of that, but the problem might come from Ultimate Todo List.
11 votesHave you moved from one time zone to another since you installed Ultimate To-Do List? If so, then an uninstall and reinstall of UTL will likely clear up the problem.

Performance Analysis Tools
I have read the HELP topic on performance but I find the information a bit vague. I understand different phones and tablets and different versions of Android can make a difference.
One possibility would be to have some sort of Ultimate To-List performance index. Perhaps the developers could have a comparison for several different generation devices so one could get a rough idea of where one might begin hit performance bottlenecks depending on the approximate performance specs of your device.
Potentially one could have a performance test that one downloads and runs on your machine to evaluate its capability.
