Please make it possible to roll back to previous user interface. It was perfect and you downgraded it to the current, chaotic GUI.
The old user interface was absolutely perfect, in my opinion.
This new one represents for me such a downgrade that I'm considering alternatives to this App.
I'm developing SW myself, but I'm old-fashioned and my mantra is "if it ain't broken, don't fix it".4 votes -
Ability to Remove Advanced Due Date Option
I'm configured as Power User, which allows me to select what fields I want to see. I've never used Advanced, which tells whether the task can be done before or on the date due. I don't seem able to remove that feature, even though I find it rather useless. Please let me remove it.

Un-tab the task/notes display - go back to inline or make it an option
I'm pretty sure I'm asking for a reversion to previous display format. The current scheme makes it impossible to view an entire task at once, at a glance. Even worse, I can't even tell if there even IS a Note attached to a given Task, when looking at the fields view, or if the Note is empty. Presumably you changed it so the Note field could have a full screen to edit, but the effect of the tabbing option is to always hide the Note, every time I open a task. I suggest you make "Display Note inline with Task…

Add option to not force mark subtasks complete when Parent task is completed.
When marking a parent compete, all subtasks are forced complete. It makes sense in the parent/child scheme, which this feature is supposed to do, but I don't use it like that. I use it more like a reference point, so it should have independent marks that way. The way I have to do it now is display completed tasks and uncheck the subtasks.

get To Do List to display outstanding tasks in status bar on phone/tablet reboot
For those who like to see a reminder of outstanding tasks in the device's status bar, it is frustrating that they don't come back on reboot after a system crash or manual reboot.

Go back to the old time picker.
Not a bug, but an unhelpful design. The latest design is probably supposed to be faster, but it is slower to use. I have to scroll much more carefully to get it to the time I want. A number pad would be faster than this.

In the list view, place an icon on items that are set to show in a calendar.
An icon on an item in the list setting that tells it is set to show in a calendar would be as useful as the ones that currently identify items with reminders and repeat settings.

Total number of tasks at top of list + refresh
It would be handy to be able to see the total number of outstanding tasks for a given list at a glance. Having the total number of tasks at the top of the list in the title bar would achieve this (as well as in the navigation draw). Adding in a refresh button would be the final touch so that once tasks are ticked off you could refresh and immediately see how many were left.

Different Nagging Intervals for Each Task
Hi, I would like to put this into consideration: can you give the users the ability to set nagging reminders per-task instead of having a global setting for all tasks the user decides to be nagged of?
Nagging reminders are a essential and very useful feature. I believe having the chance to choose different levels of Nagging would be very nice.13 votes -

Option "how long to keep completed tasks" for individual views/folders
Simple, easy, full control of completed tasks for each view/folder.
0 days = delete immediately (e.g. daily shopping list)
1 to several days = to be able to undo completion for defined days
never = do not delete at all (for list I reuse in future after completing all tasks, e.g. list of things to do and to pack before holidays)4 votes -
Really quick change of VIEW, ADD TASK and STARTUP SCREEN for WIDGET
Below solution covers most of raised ideas for widget usage.
Below philosophy is both the most flexible and really quick and comfortable for user I can image. It uses existing powerful filters/views/(and templates - that developers work on) for quickest selection.
It gives both minimum clicks/touches and maximum flexibility = ultimate usability.VIEW CHANGE:
1a. User in widget settings checks [v] views he wants for the widget
1b. Widget has button "change view" that displays list of selected views to switch between quickly.
1c. If only two view are activated for the widget, view switches between the two ones right…

When entering location add that location to the task
When I create a new task and add a new location, after entering the location info, I go back to the task and I have to select the location I just created. This location should be added to the task like when I create a new folder, I don't have to select that folder.

the widget should open the whole app when tapping somewhere
if, I want to open the app from the widget directly should be possible. touching wherever you want in the screen, not needing to go to the icon that might be in other screen
additionally it should be possible. to change the preference list, for any other view we have just touching, not necessarily reprogramming the widget, we can decide we need a different view for a while o for a day

tapping and holding a task should open menu of options not needing to go to the 3 point button down
just touching the task and holding. should be enough, it is very dysfunctional to do it in 2 steps, going down and taping again in the 3 button key, I think the old one was this way

money fields
I plan on using this as primarily for my job as an independent contractor. Each job pays a flat rate, and I would like a field to enter the amount I will be paid. I would also like fields to track any expenses I had relating to each job. Parking, tolls, etc...

Undo last change
Sometimes I miss-click things on my tiny smartphone screen.
It would be great if there was an "Undo" function to undo the last (or maybe even last couple) changes made.
